1. Service
Clipcowork lets you upload long-form videos and generate short-form vertical clips with burned-in captions, or remove silent "dead air" from a video. Processing runs in our cloud worker environment, not in your browser.
The service is offered during early access. Features, limits, pricing, plans, and availability may change as we develop the product. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Clipcowork. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You need a valid account, created through our authentication provider, to upload and process videos. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to share, sell, or transfer your account without our permission. We may suspend access if we detect abuse, attempts to bypass usage limits or credits, security risks, or activity that could harm the service or other users.
3. Plans, Credits, and Payment
Clipcowork offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (currently Starter, Creator, Pro, and Studio). Current prices, monthly credit allowances, and limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.
Processing a video consumes credits from your balance, based on the length of your video and the type of processing. The free plan includes a one-time credit grant; paid plans include a monthly credit allowance.
At each renewal, your credit balance is reset to your plan’s monthly allowance — unused credits from the previous period do not carry over.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card number. Stripe collects your billing address and an optional VAT or business tax ID for your invoices. Prices are shown at checkout and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply to you; we do not currently calculate or add VAT or sales tax, so you are responsible for any taxes applicable to you.
4. Subscriptions, Renewal, and Cancellation
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions that automatically renew each billing period (monthly) at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on each renewal.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep access and any remaining period credits until then, after which your account returns to the free plan.
If we change subscription prices, we will give you advance notice and the change will apply from your next renewal.
5. Refunds
When a job does not complete successfully — because it failed, was cancelled, or produced no output — the credits held for that job are automatically returned to your balance.
Except where required by law, subscription fees and consumed credits are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after cancellation. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund or withdrawal rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
6. Your Content and License
You keep ownership of the videos, audio, transcripts, clips, captions, and other content you upload or create with Clipcowork.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transcode, transcribe, analyze, reframe, caption, and deliver your content only as needed to provide the service to you, operate and secure the product, debug issues, and enforce these terms. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except for copies kept in routine backups or where we must retain content to comply with law.
We do not use your uploaded content to train our own models. Some processing is performed by third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy); their handling of content is governed by their own terms.
You are responsible for ensuring you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content, including the rights of any other people who appear or speak in it.
7. AI Outputs
Clip selection, transcripts, captions, and edit decisions are generated by automated AI systems and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You should review outputs before publishing or relying on them.
Clipcowork does not guarantee that any clip will perform well on social platforms, or that outputs meet the policies of any platform.
8. Acceptable Use
Do not use Clipcowork to upload or process illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or content you are not allowed to process, publish, or transform.
Do not abuse or harass other people, distribute malware, overload or probe the platform, circumvent usage limits or credits, or attempt to reverse engineer or bypass the service.
9. Copyright and DMCA
If you believe content processed through Clipcowork infringes your copyright, send a notice to clipcowork@gmail.com that includes: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the material at issue, your contact details, a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
We respond to valid notices, may remove infringing content, accept counter-notices, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Storage and Expiry
Uploads, generated outputs, and their transcripts are scheduled for automatic deletion after a per-plan retention period measured from upload: about 3 days on Free, about 15 days on Starter, about 1 month on Creator, and about 3 months on Pro and Studio. Because cleanup runs on a periodic schedule, deletion may happen somewhat after the retention period ends.
You can also delete any finished item yourself at any time. We may delete expired, cancelled, failed, abusive, or policy-violating content at any time.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, attempts to bypass limits or credits, security risks, non-payment, or activity that could harm the service or other users.
You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete individual videos from your dashboard once a job has finished, and you can request deletion of your whole account and its data by emailing clipcowork@gmail.com (see our Privacy Policy for details). On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your content and account data, subject to records we are required to retain.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free processing, or preservation of every file. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipcowork and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. The specific governing-law jurisdiction and venue for disputes will be identified here before general availability. Until then, nothing in these terms limits your right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence where local law gives you that right.
Where the law allows, you and the operator will first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting clipcowork@gmail.com.
15. Operator and Contact
Clipcowork is operated by the entity reachable at clipcowork@gmail.com. The registered business name and address are available on request and will be published here before general availability.
Questions about these terms can be sent to clipcowork@gmail.com.
